Get Level with the Performing Arts Center
With the global pandemic crisis, every industry has taken its tolls. But one of the heaviest hit industries is the arts. David Mitchell is the general manager at the Performing Arts Center at Kent State Tuscarawas, and he joins the show to discuss how COVID has impacted the performing arts both in Tuscarawas County and around the world.
When will live shows resume? What new measures and strategies have been researched and implemented moving forward? Will we see new events posted in 2021, or will the industry need more time to recover? All this and more is covered on this episode of The Get Level Sessions.
Also, what can we as a community do to help support the arts? Well one way is to buy your tickets for Artober LIVE! Artober LIVE is a fundraising concert to raise awareness about the impact the pandemic has had on the arts community and to help support local artists.
This will also be the first live in-house event hosted at the PAC since March. Social distancing protocols will be in place. Tickets are only $10, and they can only be purchased in advance, so call the PAC box office today at 330-308-6400.
